An archive of notable technical posts to now-archived Symthic Forums. Only technical posts allowed.
One (Discourse) topic per one thread at archived forums. Include any multi-part posts (e.g. if original post was continued in the second).
Include the following:
- Original topic name and date of posting
- Author of the post
- The post body (the text, images, tables, etc). Try to include all accompanying media, and format into Discourse’s format
Protips:
- You can copy-paste formatted text and paste in Discourse reply box, and Discourse automatically converts it into markdown-like syntax (i.e. links appear as links, headers appear as headers, etc).
- Open up all spoiler-tags before copy/pasting to also include contents of those
- Due to how Symthic forums are archived, some of the characters are displayed wrong (wrong encoding). These include characters like closing double-quotes. You have to manually fix these.
